In 2006, the Federation of Hiking Organizations of Catalonia (FEEC) put on the table a challenge: to reach the top of one hundred peaks of a selection of more than three hundred mountains that are worth discovering.

'The challenge of the 100 Summits in the Girona region', co-edited with the Editorial Comanegra http://comanegra.com/, comprises the fifty-one ascents of the FEEC proposal in these lands, which are presented for the first time in a guide, which will take you from the Costa Brava to the Vall de Núria.
